Our Founder and CEO, Deborah Moore, M.D., started AmarilloMD in June 2016 after continually experiencing an impersonal medical system that was failing to deliver consistent quality medical care to her own family, and for her own patients, she found it increasingly difficult to deliver a high-standard of personal care within the broken system she was practicing.
She decided Direct Primary Care (DPC) was the proper way to care for patients. That is why AmarilloMD was created – to improve our nation's health one patient at a time – and do so by providing personalized accessible care to everyone in your family!
AmarilloMD is a specialty Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice comprised of medical professionals who take the time to listen to your concerns and properly diagnose your health status. Then, we provide you with treatment options and communication explaining the benefits of the treatments we are recommending.

April Oglesby, APRN-CNM

WOMEN, PRENATAL, POSTNATAL, AND NEWBORN SPECIALIST
April Oglesby APRN-CNM has over 15 yrs experience in the medical care of women and infants, with a background in OBGyn and NICU (Neonatal ICU). She has been a nurse since 2005, obtained her bachelor's degree in 2019, and her master's degree as a certified nurse midwife in the fall of 2021. April treats all our female patients from menstrual age to peri-menopausal and post-menopausal.
Dr. Deborah Moore, M.D

FOUNDER/CEO
Deborah L. Moore, M.D. is the physician owner of AmarilloMD, PLLC, a direct primary care practice established in 2016. She earned her doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2006 and practiced at Scott & White hospital as a resident afterwards. She worked for a healthcare corporation under the insurance model for 10 years before discovering the DPC membership model of care. This model allows her to enjoy being a physician.
Sarah Roberts - APRN

FAMILY MEDICINE
Sarah is a Certified Family Practice APRN. She loves taking care of geriatric patients and spent a lot of time directing nursing facilities as a nurse before becoming an APRN. She lives in Dumas, Tx with her husband, Matt, and 2 boys, Jake and Aaron, who love to play football. She likes to shoot shotguns to relax when not working! We are thrilled to have her heading up our 2nd location in Dumas in October 2023.
